Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Leadenham Church of England Primary Academy, where our main aim is to ensure that children are ‘ready to learn; prepared to flourish’.

We aim to do this by providing:

• Opportunities to engage with outdoor learning, developing knowledge and skills that go beyond curriculum learning.
• A curriculum that is fit for purpose and well-sequenced, ensuring that all children learn the foundational knowledge that will lead them to be successful learners.
• Opportunities to learn about topics that interest them in addition to our core offer.
• Excellent ICT provision.
• Opportunities for quality time with adults in the school to support and guide our children through their learning, ensuring barriers are overcome.

Our core beliefs at Leadenham Church of England Primary Academy centre on providing a happy, safe, secure and supportive learning environment where all children are able to achieve their full potential.

We believe passionately in allowing children to explore and investigate, nurturing creativity and providing challenge for all pupils.  We focus on equipping pupils with the knowledge, skills and understanding to become positive citizens of the future, enabling them to inspire others.

Although our class sizes are small, our inclusive culture of learning is one where all children are challenged in their thinking, to achieve to the best of their abilities and strive to become lifelong learners. 

Our supportive and caring ethos ensures all children’s efforts, achievements and good behaviour are valued, celebrated and rewarded.
