Celebrating Success
We believe in celebrating our children’s achievements throughout school. We celebrate this in the following ways:
Individual merits leading to Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates
House points – team achievement
Respect tokens – individual awards for demonstrating the school’s core values
Termly Governor Award for Behaviour and Learning Attitudes
Attendance certificates
Values Champions - children who have demonstrated living by our core Christian values
Celebration Assembly
You are very welcome to join us as we celebrate our children’s achievements
at our weekly Celebration Assembly.
They take place on Tuesday at 9:15am.
We also encourage the children to share their achievements outside of school during this time.
Celebrating Achievements
We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver a personalised education for our pupils.
We are able to work with parents to have a deep understanding of how each child learns
and to support and challenge individuals.
Our small class sizes means that data can be difficult to interpret as each pupil is worth
a large percentage in each cohort (e.g. in a class of 4 pupils each child represents 25%
where as in an average class size of 32 each child represents approx. 3%).
The data picture is also supported by The Government who recognise that the data measures for attainment for small cohorts is statistically difficult to interpret and consequently do not report this on the National Performance Tables.
Our pupils consistently make better than expected progress based on their starting points and our aim is to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
We are proud to present our Key Stage Results for 2018:
